Empowering teen drivers with focus and giving parents total peace of mind on every journey.
Guardian Drive, developed by Apphive Technologies LLC, was born not in a boardroom, but on the open road.
Our founder, Digant Patel, witnessed firsthand how quickly a routine drive can turn catastrophic. While driving, a car in the adjacent lane – driven by a teenager captivated by their phone screen – swerved and caused an immediate, preventable crash. Experiencing that moment live left an indelible mark: in a modern world where high-speed vehicles meet the constant pull of social media, digital distraction behind the wheel is no longer just bad habit – it is an epidemic.
We realized that traditional approaches weren’t enough. Lectures, warnings, and punitive tracking tools don’t solve the core issue: modern smartphones are engineered to demand constant attention, even at 70 mph.
Guardian Drive was created to solve this challenge at its root. Our mission is to proactively remove the temptation before it starts, blocking hazardous digital interruptions while the vehicle is in motion and helping both teens and experienced drivers stay focused on what truly matters: arriving home safely.
